Atiba Hutchinson and Dame NDoye scored Sunday to lead FC Copenhagen to a 2-0 win over FC Midtjylland and retain second place in the Danish league.

Hutchinson gave the defending champions a fifth-minute lead after receiving a pass from William Kvist. NDoye secured the win with an 88th-minute goal from a pass by Oscar Wendt.

FC Copenhagen is second with 34 points from 17 games. Odense, which will play Koge on Monday, leads with 35 points after 16 games.

Earlier Sunday, Randers FC drew 0-0 with SonderjyskE and Silkeborg beat FC Nordsjalland 1-0 after a goal by Christian Holst in the 77th minute.

On Saturday, Esbjerg drew 1-1 with Aalborg to stay third in the standings with 32 points.
