Okay, first, thank you for trying to help me, I really appreciate it. I need some help with coming up with fun nick names for my characters in my story. Not ones for, example, the name Franklin and make the nick name Frankie, but make it by his personality, and make it like Laker or something because he likes the lakers? As you can see, I need a lot of help with this. Danny- Likes cross country, track and field, animals, skateboarding, and playing the guitar. He’s always a little flinchy due to his past of being hit by his father. He’s very smart, straight A’s, and is always saying quotes. Like, you know, life quotes or funny quotes and stuff like that. He likes to read books, use big words. Very shy and easily embarrassed. Doesn’t like to be the center of attention. A little on the sensitive side, not so much that he’ll cry if you insult him, but he’ll focus on it longer than he should. The kind of sensitive that girls like in guys. Has social anxiety and plain anxiety. Long blond hair and has heterochromia, so his left eye if green and his right eye is blue, very skinny, average height, 15 years old. Doesn’t usually swear, but some slip out once in a while.
Cade- The kid that everyone likes because he’s a fun, funny, energetic, just up for anything kind of kid. He can talk about anything to anybody. He’s never mad, always happy and smiling, stands up for anybody. Can’t stand still, always wants to do something, and always up for a challenge. He skateboards, plays hockey, can’t sit through a movie, plays guitar and drums and can sing, sings and plays guitar in a band, and people say he could be a comedian when he grows up. He does a bunch of stupid stuff on bikes or jumping off of big stuff, and falls half of the time. 15 years old, long blond hair, green eyes, average height, not as skinny as Danny, but still skinny. Always trying to get Danny to socialize with a few of his friends, but ends up failing every time. Loves to laugh and hang with his friends. Cade’s the guy you would want to be there comforting you, and you can bet your ass he’ll be there. Swears more often then he should, but he’s good around adults and girls, unless they’re his friends.
Kit- 18, short brown hair with many cowlicks, gray eyes. Loves, and I mean loves, to box, likes to fake hit Cade all the time. Once boxed Cade, but ended up giving Cade a black eye. Cade held no grudges and was actually laughing about it. He’s usually the one to challenge Cade to do something or challenges him something to see who can do it better or faster. He’s pretty skinny, too. Usually gets into fights with boys at school who talk shit about Danny, but doesn’t tell Danny that was why he got in a fight. A good friend, but isn’t very good at comforting. He’s the one who swears every other word. he can drive, but he doesn’t like to. He loves to do magic aswell.
Rose- She’s 15, long, black hair, beautiful blue eyes, skinny, average height. She loves music, she says it’s her escape. She mostly listens to Green Day and Rise Against. She loves to play soccer and is also a female boxer. She once boxed Kit after much persuading and kicked his ass. She loves magic, but can’t do any magic tricks herself to save her life, so she likes to watch Kit or Criss Angel. She’s not very girly and moved from Massachusetts to here, so she’s a big Bruins fan. Most girls don’t like her because she is very into sports and doesn’t spend all her time at the mall or flirting with boys. She does, however, paint her nails and play around with her hair, but no make up ever touched her face except for the end of the school year celebration of moving on to a new grade. She plays the violin, guitar, drums, and the piano. She can skateboard, catch a run away cat or dog, she can fight, she can fix a car, and she’s also crushing hard on Danny, but doesn’t know Danny’s the same about her. The boys like to call her Posie, like Rosie Posie, but I’d like another name for her as well.

OK, so. The Bears after being red hot have lost Jay Cutler for now what could be even up to 16 WEEKS! So the Bears are done for the season. I seriously thought they would beat the packers in the playoffs. And even the Superbowl. Next year looks like they could be getting DeSean Jackson which would be a huge upgrade for WR. Roy Williams was starting to get on track with Cutler and Johnny Knox was doing good not dropping passes. Bennett is still catching all the passes he needs and Hester has made a few long plays. I think D-Jax would be huge! I say give Roy another chance. One more season. The Bears need to win a Superbowl in the next 3 years before their D gets too old. Peppers, Briggs, Urlacher, Tillman, all would retire on a superbowl season! For me, if they win a superbowl, I would be perfectly fine with them having 8-8 or 7-9 seasons for the next 3-4 years why they PATIENTLY build up a good team. What’s your opinion?

With Theo as President and building a decent team of young guys. The Chicago Cubs will DEFINITELY be a World Series contender every year for the next 15 years NO DOUGHT! I say they will win at least 3 World Series in that time if not 5. I say they will first win their division in 2014 or 15. Maybe a wild card in 2 years. But start dominating in about 3 or 4 years because they still need to develop. But I’m really excited for this!

Well lets start off by saying we have the best PG in the NBA and the 2011 MVP Derrick Rose! As good as he is, we still need a good #2. The Bulls could’ve gotten Melo last season but he is a bit of a bull hog which he would have to learn not to do. He would be a good upgrade if we got him. Someone else we could get is Dwight Howard. He is probably our best bet. He would be our nice #2 to Rose and even know we have Noah, having him on the bench wouldn’t be that bad. The Bulls bench is very good and it would just improve. Plus the Bulls are going to get a better scoring SG and if Bogans stays move him to bench which I think is good. To me Keith Bogans is a good Bench SG. But not starter. And who knows who might pop up later in the season. With the lockout ending now I’m looking forward to this season. Hbu? Someone else could randomly pop up into Free Agency or the Bulls draft a good rookie next year. It’s all about being patient and waiting for development. But, the Bears, Bulls, and Hawks don’t need that. All the Bulls need is a #2 guy next to Rose to take some pressure off. The Bulls would be unstoppable. And I know this person is out of the picture, but imagine having Kevin Durant with D Rose. Wouldn’t that be great! Ha! I know the Bears can’t win this year with Cutler out. But I know they can in the future if they do it quick and get a good reciever. That’s all it will take imo. Also I should change the question to who in the future (next 15 years) will win the most championships. Because the Cubs and Sox are far but Cubs will get much better with Theo being serious and the Hawks are young and healthy. For the Bulls, get a good #2 and your good for some championships.

Your Open Question: Am I fat??!!?!!?Please answer no ones answering!!?

I’m 13, 5′3" and 126lbs

Im a runner, I do track and soccer. I’m thinking about giving up track though because it makes my thighs SO big! All my friends are just so damn skinny that I sometimes I just feel like taking a knife and cutting off some fat. Most of my friends arent even 100lbs let alone 126! When people first see me they I bet they think, ‘ha! She’s got such big fat legs!’ because when I where jeans you can’t see the side of my thigh, where there is a indent about 5in long from where the sides of the muscle is separated.

My doctor always tells me that I’m not fat and it’s the muscle that makes me heavy but really I’m very self conceious about my body.

For fitness test this year (7th grade) I did:
36 push ups
59 sit-ups
5min 32sec mile run time
16in. For flexibility

I think I did good for fitness testing, what do you think? I have a little bit of asthma but it’s getting better because I’m strengthing and enlarging my lungs every time I push myself.
I feel normal everywhere else except my legs. I have big firm lower legs too.
I’m happy with my set of boobs for my age(32 B).
When I go swimming I don’t feel comforitalble showwing off all my thighs so I where short board shorts and a bikini top.

I want smaller thighs!! What should I do??

to me it doesnt sound like you’re fat at all. you are at a good body weigh, since you run your legs with be muscular, but dont worry, not that obnxious muscle that football players have:p if you’re worried about your thighs go to womenshealth.com and look for workouts. they have great ones, good luck!

You’re not fat or overweight at all. You don’t have to feel bad at yourself. It’s just the muscles that make your weight different. Eat healthy and watch your diet. Don’t push yourself and earn some more muscles, or else your weight will grow. Feel good about yourself. The last thing a human needs is to feel bad about themselves because they think they’re fat. Maybe it came from your parents. If they are about the same size as you are then you’re normal. If not, then maybe you earned a little bit of weight. That’s just how humans are. It comes from your genes.

Oh my goodness. You are nowhere near fat, and as for your thighs, its muscle. Muscle looks a lot different than fat. Fat looks like cottage cheese is under your skin, muscle is smooth, people can tell the difference between the two so you shouldn’t worry about them thinking you have fat thighs.

Your fitness tests look above average and you sound like a very healthy and athletic girl. If you are really that concerned about your legs being fat, go get a BMI (Body Mass Index) test. It is done by a doctor and tells what percentage of your body is fat. Anything below 11% is extremely healthy.

If anybody ever says anything about your thighs being big, just say, “Cool, at least I don’t have to put others down to make myself feel good. I’m perfect just the way I am, and I know it.” Or, if you want to be funny, just yell, “I’m sexy and I know it, I WORK OUT!”

You seem to be doing a good bit of exercise, so it’s not like you need to watch your weight much. More than likely you may look even less than 116 pounds, because of muscle. You’re the perfect weight, and you’re only in the 7th grade.
You and your 100 pound friends are still growing. By this time next year you may be 5′6 So dont stress out!
100 pounds and stick skinny isn’t cute anyway. Be who you are you’re already beautiful and toned. You sound perfect.

With Lazio, I would make $54 (+30 = $84) and Juventus I would make $46.50 (+$30 = $76.50). If one of the two win, and do not draw, I would make money. Is this correct, or am I missing something? Sure, if there was a draw, I would lose it all. The $54 with lazio and the $46.50 with Juventus DOES NOT include the initial $30.

Draws are incredibly frequent in soccer, sure you would make money if they never drew, but they will. You are essentially betting against the draw, soccer is nothing like football/basketball, goals are few and far between, many matches end in a draw. Your sheer ignorance tells me that you will rapidly part with your money.

How is it a sure win if you lose on a draw?

The other 2 people spelled it out. You need to consider the very real possibility that there will be a Draw. If there is NOT a draw, then sure you’d win.
