I’m 13, 5′3" and 126lbs
Im a runner, I do track and soccer. I’m thinking about giving up track though because it makes my thighs SO big! All my friends are just so damn skinny that I
sometimes I just feel like taking a knife and cutting off some fat. Most of my friends arent even 100lbs let alone 126! When people first see me they I bet they think, ‘ha! She’s got such big fat legs!’ because when I where jeans you can’t see the side of my thigh, where there is a indent about 5in long from where the sides of the muscle is separated.
My doctor always tells me that I’m not fat and it’s the muscle that makes me heavy but really I’m very self conceious about my body.
For fitness test this year (7th grade) I did:
36 push ups
59 sit-ups
5min 32sec mile run time
16in. For flexibility
I think I did good for fitness testing, what do you think? I have a little bit of asthma but it’s getting better because I’m strengthing and enlarging my lungs every time I push myself.
I feel normal everywhere else except my legs. I have big firm lower legs too.
I’m happy with my set of boobs for my age(32 B).
When I go swimming I don’t feel comforitalble showwing off all my thighs so I where short board shorts and a bikini top.
I want smaller thighs!! What should I do??

You are not fat you are just right maybe a bit underweight.
If you are mad that you are gaining muscles from running i think you need to see a therapist cause there is real problems going on in your head.

Your weight is perfectly FINE for your height and age.
Your not fat! You just have an athletic body, which isn’t a bad thing. if it bothers you try not to do sports that work out your legs as much as an example swimming or track. Or you can put yourself on a high calorie diet and continue with sports. But really you aren’t fat and your body is still changing. your only 13.
Do alot of cardio, no leg exercises that will give you bigger thighs.
Well I know someone who has huge thighs but if u want to lose the fat then you might want to talk to your doc and say you desperately want to slim your legs down. I wouldn’t care or make fun of u if I ever saw you. If you think you are fat, then lose weight. Decrease your daily calorie intake and eat clean. You will lose fat surrounding any muscle you might have.
No, you’re DEFINITELY NOT FAT. Weirdly enough, you sound exactly like me as of 1 or 2 years ago only I’m a guy. Seriously, 100% identical, especially if you’re blonde.
Also, It’s basically a given that anyone who runs on cross-country will have big legs, my little brother once said “all you cross country runners look like raptors. You all have huge legs and tiny arms.”
